Guia Acústica
Our acoustic commitment at Coworking Summit and Interihotel
At Mirplay Acoustics, we continue to explore how acoustic design can transform professional and hospitality environments into more human, functional and comfortable spaces.
During October, we participated in two key industry events: Coworking Summit (Madrid, 16–17 October) and Interihotel (Barcelona, 21–23 October). Two different contexts, but with the same goal: to show how our acoustic solutions contribute to well-being and productivity in spaces where people work, collaborate and interact.
Coworking Summit: listening to the flexible office sector
The Coworking Summit, organised by the Spanish Coworking Association (ACW), is the leading event for the flexible and collaborative workspace sector. This year’s edition, held in Madrid, brought together operators, users, investors, architects and real estate experts to share ideas, network and discuss the challenges and opportunities of coworking in Spain.
Our goal was to learn first-hand about the needs of the sector and show how our acoustic booths can improve concentration and well-being in this type of environment.
During the event, attendees were able to see and try out the Essen S acoustic booth, designed to offer privacy, ideal for calls, video conferences or moments of individual concentration.
We also presented the other two acoustic booth models, the Essen M, for two people, and the Essen L, for up to four people. Three sizes in total that expand the possibilities of use according to the needs of each coworking or flexible space. From an individual corner to a meeting booth, all versions share the same focus: design, comfort and acoustic performance.
Interihotel: acoustic design at the service of the hotel industry
A few days later, we took our acoustic proposal to Interihotel Barcelona, the leading European event that brings together professionals from the worlds of design, architecture and hospitality to explore the trends that will shape the future of hotels and restaurants.
At this edition, we presented a stand designed as a contemporary lobby, a space that reinterpreted the first contact with a hotel: welcoming, elegant and functional. Our idea was to recreate that warm and sophisticated atmosphere that invites you to discover, experience and stay, demonstrating how acoustic comfort can be naturally integrated into interior design and architecture projects.
The acoustic booths, organically located within the lounge, blended into the space as a whole, demonstrating their ability to adapt to hospitality or contract environments without disrupting the aesthetic harmony. The stand design combined warm materials, ambient lighting by Carpyen and contemporary lines, conveying a sense of calm and acoustic well-being from the outset.
We completed the installation with our range of Tori and Yoko sofas, designed to create areas for relaxation, conversation or rest in hotels or common areas. The combination of these elements resulted in a space that balanced aesthetics, functionality and acoustic comfort, a tangible example of how design can enhance the user experience in the hotel and professional sectors.
Two events, one vision
Our participation in Coworking Summit and Interihotel reaffirms our commitment to design that prioritises people’s acoustic and emotional well-being. At Mirplay Acoustics, we believe that acoustic comfort is essential for promoting concentration, collaboration and tranquillity in any space, whether it be a coworking space or a hotel.
We will continue to work to offer solutions that combine aesthetics, functionality and well-being, helping architects, interior designers and space managers to create places that inspire, welcome and promote productivity.
